Holostages - critical review

Not re type of metal just that better wire helps these and every ground device sound it's best.
Yup. You are 100% right. I’ll need to find a somewhat affordable “high-end” ground cable.

Tremendous synergy alert. I found that a footer under a Holostage is a clear plus. Had 2 Lotus boxes on $600 Carbide Audio footers (very good in general) and I put a Stack Audio $55 footer under the Lotus and over the Carbide and then Stack footers under 2 Holostage speaker wire connected Holostage boxes on top of my amp. Literally the best upgrade ever: PRAT beyond all experience other than live as well as solidity of image and tone and even more so sustain and decay that I have only heard live. Total shock. Ordered 8 more. I have 2 more Holostages on top of my loudspeakers (wired to binding psots) I can only imagine what the Stacks will do in this position. I had put Stacks under my DC blocker and they were a real but "normal" degree better than the Synergistic footers they replaced (at 1/6 the price) but nothing like with the Holostages. The Stacks have some sort of sand like substance (?titanium) under the top plate- it must do something in concert with the brew in the Holostage. Transformational and pretty cheap.
Please can you explain what you mean when you say "Holostage speaker wire connected Holostage boxes"?
Are you referring to Ground Box Boosters?

No, they are Holostages with 2 wires for + and - speaker terminals. Also have them at AMP binding posts. There are many different versions not listed on website. I find the "Lotus" which has a single RCA plug the most powerful . There are also AC plug ins and a large unit that goes over your breaker box.

Thanks for replying, interesting that Holostages can be used that way. I have two Lotus boxes, one with rca and one with usb, they are very good.

Wow, Holostages for speaker ar the speaker terminals. Holostages work great in my car, too with and without USB connections. Chrissy's dad and many of her siblings have have an engineering/scientific background. Chrissy even runs cares for a beer farm.

What?

A beer farm is otherwise known as a pub.
My own, my wife would be more interested in high end audio if it meant more involvement with pubs.

Hi,
I just want to echo what others have said about these marvellous little boxes.
Pretty much this time last year I took a chance and ordered a set of four, having read a rather enticing and evocative review of them in Audiogon.
Krissy assured me even though I was in the UK the money back guarantee was still valid.
When they arrived I placed boxes at the back behind my listening seat left and right, and midway sides of the room. The best way I can describe it, is was like I'd turned up a 3D dial in the room. The music was now less coming from the other side of the room, now felt like it was jumping into and around the room, like the music had been uncoupled from the speakers. I told my partner it felt like I now have a 3D Stereo System. Engagement level with music had taken another leap forward.
Fast forward a year and I've just taken delivery of my third set. They really are a culminative device, doubling them up in places which had previous success just amplifies the effect.
I've found three behind each speaker in a triangle formation has really added enormous depth to the soundstage, I feel I'm peering through the wall between the speakers into the music.
I'm very thankful this device exists

If you want to add more I can highly reccomend the ones that plug into an unused RCA jack on your equipment.

I'll consider it certainly, but I think I'm already jonesing for another set of four holostages. I bought this recent set to use in my cinema room, and I had a lot of success with that (picture quality and sound). But curiousity got the better of me and I couldn't help but start playing around with the new set in the music room on top of the existing configuration, and of course they were great. So now I need another set, otherwise I'm just carting these little boxes back and forward between the two rooms. The missus is looking at me like I've gone a bit mental.
