What ethernet cables are members using?

A bit off topic, but does anyone have recommendations for i2s HDMI-style cables? I’d like to try one in between my Antipodes and my DAC and also a LAIV reclocker and my DAC

If you want to reach for it (assuming it is a reach), the Audioquest Dragon. If not, and you don’t mind waiting, the RAL HDMI. Or the Tubulus Concentus v2. They’re all good, but in my system I’ve been the most pleased with the Dragon.

Another vote for Tubulus. I have heard good things.

Oh, if it matters, the Audioquest is the most flexible (although the DBS thing at one end must be taken into account), followed by the Tubulus, filled by the RAL.

The least digital sounding digital playback I’ve heard, makes me scratch my head as to how and why an Ethernet cable should have such an impact on the sound quality of a system, but it does. I tend to listen for hours on end, usually around 4-6 hours of attentive listening four to five times a week, and more if time allows, very happy with the upgrade as well as the complete absence of listening fatigue.

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

Try the Viborg LAN. Compared to the Neo 1008 it could be a little „smoother“. The Neotech has pronounced frequency extremes, but the mids are lacking...at least for me. In addition, the Neo is difficult to lay and does not perform well under high tension.
CAT8 is not recommended at all.

Not sure they have a website yet - in the meantime, I’m going to inquire, they’re going to be at the Finest Audio Show in Regensdorf (Zürich) next weekend, Look for the Aries Cerat / Lucas Audio (Domansky) / Odeon / Sikora room.

Greetings from Switzerland, David.
