Zellaton and my ascent to Soulution

I feel like I have whiplash. Why did all of the touting of the Soulution 717 amplifier disappear, replaced by an amplifier which no one has heard, made by Stellavox, a company which has never made amplifiers?

I've been aware of Stellavox bringing a new state of the art amplifier to the audio world for several months now, initially in a mono block version and a soon to be released stereo version as well. The new StellaDac is also soon to be released I have the opportunity to audition these in my home and form all accounts this is a very special amplifier.

I do have another event coming up at the end of this month but plans are underway for me to host an event featuring these new amps and even though I'm known as a tube nut and a Lamm devotee, my interest has been sufficiently piqued by independent comments and observations about this amp that I say to stay tuned here for further information about such an event at my house

also members here at WBF from Hong Kong are raving about it after Audio Exotics in Hong Kong have been demoing it since July. They use it as their reference with Goebel and Cessaro loudspeakers - This suggests that the amp is extremely special for both inefficient as well as very efficient speakers.

AudioArts in NYC has been selected as the North American Distributor for Stellavox so stay tuned here for some very special announcements

The new Stella DAC is supposed to be a recording industry standard

Here are some photos of the legendary Stella DAT

Given that the distributor does Soulution, Burmester and now Stellavox I wonder if they might offer insight into the differences between the 717s, the 159s and the upcoming Stella. I am very curious as I have heard the 159s and the 717s in the same system (my own).

ahhh the wonders of the internet......
a product never made before by a company that doesn't make them , being touted by people who have never heard it. What could possibly go wrong?

I recently saw Chris at Audio Exotics in HK paired the Gobels with the new Stellavox amps. Apparently they were very impressed with the sound.

Never made before. Audio history is a little rough around the edges especially with foreign products but Goldmund licensed Stellavox tech to make the limited production PW-1 amplifiers. There was also Stellavox's pro side that made amps. New? Not exactly. According to their website, Stellavox and Stephan have been working on these amps for several years.

I'm not sure why new has a negative connotation. Stephan Schertler was with Stellavox previously. No one had negative comments when now successful companies like CH Precision, Stenheim, D'Agostino, TechDas,

No one said it cant be. However in this case no one has heard them. That system is not in HK its in mainland China and those amps ( which may be great I have no idea) replaced something the owner had for many many years. I am not one to take one man surveys very seriously. I thought reviewers actually had to listen to something for themselves before they make an opinion. I guess that is the old way...
By the way you spelled our name wrong the Brand is Gobel, thank you

New means that its new. It is not a determinant of quality just a measurement of time. There was a time in the audio business that actual people had to experience a product before they pushed it and proclaimed its quality.

This video on Zanden Kaun 211 AE exclusive push pull is much better. Though probably due to the tape

I must have missed something. Which reviewers are pushing Stellavox?
