You have a customer who has been waiting for his unit since last year who was very specific about the fire and how it melted the boards, what you said how it impacted business, supposedly begged him not to tell anyone, and were very detailed about what you said next steps were going to be in regards to the fire that damaged units including his and how it supposedly extended the delay.

BTW he already owns so much of your stuff not sure why he would claim you said that if not true.

I will inquiry with him again and let him know you are saying none of that ever happened.

ETA: If he retracts his very detailed claim I will of course report that here.

I can assure you that neither I nor any of my staff ever told that to anyone, nor have I ever even heard of any fire damage to a unit. I’m quite sure I would have if it had happened.

I normally don’t comment on client matters publicly, but as my name’s been mentioned, here are the simple facts.

The deal was final and included a trade-in, which has since been sold. The unit is complete, QC’d, and already shipped last week to Dangerous Goods. It’s too late at this point for cancellations. I’ve kept my promises, pushed the order forward, and it’s now just days from delivery.

But this seems like something has gotten your audio goat. I never said anything was Fred's fault. I merely identified the fact that the FB person mentioned Fred, not Emile.

I am constantly reminded why I don't do FB. What a hot mess.

There are things not to love about the long wait times for the Olympus. I myself waited nearly a year, as noted previously. And that has been explained. I still didn't like it, but there are many things I don't like.

If a lot if people wanted money back and were denied, we would have heard about it, I am certain. One guy sez it's so...I wanna see what's in the trunk. Something seems amiss.

Edit: and now we see the detail: there was a trade which was later sold. How would one unwind that deal? Again: slow delivery is irritating, and that guy was pissed off. Asserting there is some sort of plot, is different.

I'm not questioning Allesandro's frustration but you have specifically made a serious claim regarding Emile's integrity that is so far unsubstantiated and carries potential harm. If it proves to be unwarranted, given its nature, it is worthy of a lifetime ban at WBF and having to curtail your listening sessions to 20 minutes a day for one year. I wish you a deep spiritual, life changing experience, Michael...

You are right: here is my audio issue: The shills. The hateful, intolerant, nasty and miserable life need-to-shut-down-anyone-who's-not-drinking that particular companies kool aid shills.

So it's not about Taiko per se, but the insanity- even to them calling for violence against Cesar - that the shills go to. It's the same with the cable deniers - they are all of that same mentally: "differing opinions must be destroyed!". We saw the same thing with the Dartzeel fools.

THAT is the issue that gets me riled up. And I fully embrace it and apologize if I got caught up in it.

But to claim that questioning paying in advance for gear that is 1.5 years out with no ETA of delivery, or refusing to let you cancel when there is no end in sight, or any of the the other issues raised are someone invalid or have no right to be discussed is audio-insanity at its maximum.

Taiko came on and addressed the issues as is their right. And people have a right to raise issue.

I appreciate you helping me to take a step back for getting sucked into the moronic-mass of the audio forum shills. To all the normal people on the forum I admit I got sucked in and apologize for that. My disdain for the conversations-killing shills still stands though.

As an FYI the screen shot was mine and the reason was simply to show the customer that I did indeed reach out but would have to wait a business day for an answer because Julien was out.

This was NOT a customer communication and I do not understand the anger towards Julien for having a witty away message...
