If you watch one of his earlier videos where he compares the Rhode to the Iphone 11 it is clear that the Iphone 12 is a lot better sounding than the 11 was. i have no idea what later models would sound like.

Do you think artists are audiophiles or care about sound quality? Do you think an average artist would ask better quality than mp3 at home?

I think there’s an ocean between some artists and other ones! For example, The Grateful Dead cared very, very much! Neil Young really cares! However, you’re spot on about most and it’s truly pathetic how most treat their own art!

IMO, it’s kind of like a fine artist buying their paint, canvas, and other supplies at Walmart!

Over half a century ago, The Grateful Dead’s wall of sound at The Hollywood Bowl! Most artists still don’t supply that sound quality at live shows.

DJI mics seem to do a better job of capturing sound than pro gear probably due to rolled off frequency response.
