Yes,
it was a brief visit only. They played a smaller one than this on the pic.
I didn't get the impression that I have to replace my two-way JBL cinema spaekers

The system is fully active with its amps, frequency dividing networks, cd player etc. in the rack.
They also use field coil driver.

Very nice collection, but once you've watched 500 videos, you'll see that there are still devices in the videos that he hasn't made videos of. I think he owns ~ 1000 (devices & loudspeakers)

Same question here.

Stenheim had two rooms.
AndromedaAudio reported that the demo there sounded good (better than last year, he said), but we don't know which model he heard.
(I would be curious about Alumine Two (SE ?) + subwoofer(s) )

Regarding Stenheim, rooms A 4.2 & F213,

I see there are two rooms:
1. One with two pairs of speakers side by side:
-Reference Ultime Two SX
-Alumine Two (SE ?) + subwoofer (the sub is new!): how did this sound, with the sub?
Could members document this a bit?
(not so sound-quality-wise, we know Stenheim are stellar speakers, but more factually; your subjective opinion over the demo is welcome though of course)

2. A second room, where there is a Stenheim-galore (3 or 4 pairs), powered by Mastersound tube amplifiers. On a video uploaded by Audiophile Junkie, this room seemed to sound more reverberant (not so convincing through headphones).

Amazing. A fully digital horn systems is one of the best of show according.to some.

Kind of off topic, but the topic is gonna wind down soon as the show is over. I want to add subs to my system and/or I want to buy amp. That is forcing me to look at an active crossover. Technically, all my analog inputs would become digitized. But I really see it as the only way to move my stereo from very good to being excellent.

I believe most stereo in most rooms need the added hand of processjng to overcome issues. Some systems and some rooms can make it without.

Regarding digitally controlled subwoofers, please have a look at this Finnish technology, which does not required the rest of your system to get digitized, IIUC: Antimode, by DSPeaker

I don't know the room number, it was a Gryphon room.

I can see the TotalDac video (copyright must not apply in my region) and the recordings are very good.

The video seems to have been removed. I hope they will upload another version without copyright issues. I did not go through it all, but it was interesting to watch.

Regarding FM acoustics different strokes for different folks.
Thats why munich is a great show everybody will find something to his / her liking

Yes, and despite the big scale and good dynamics it sounded shouty and screechy. Anything other than a big classical work sounded rather comical. Tonality…well not really.
