Esprit Cables

I noticed that as you move from model to model , upwardly, all the esprit characteristics become more and more of.
Moving from the lumina to eureka was a big step, and even more so now with the gaja.
Thank you very much Ozy

hello,
is Gaïa G9 XLR (IC) much more performant than eureka G9 XLR ?
and which are the differences? larger and deeper soundstage? more body (or less) ? better resolution, dynamic ..etc
I Hesitate to move from eureka g9 to gaïa g9 for my K01XD sacd player. wouldn't change the other IC (gobel lacorde between the pre and the amp)
it's worth if it's a big step.
Thank you

The great thing about Esprit is that you'll always get significant but also predictable gains when moving up the ladder without any surprises.

Some brands have higher models which brings only minor improvements in performance where even the characteristics from one series to another might shift. Not so with Esprit.

As i read, you are looking for more resolution, larger and deeper soundstage and better dynamic....
Esoteric K01XD sound style is very opaque. It lacks what are you looking for.
Goebel XLR doesn't help in this aspect. They are increasing Esoteric sound.
Eureka has a bit dark sound so Gaia is a no brainer purchase in your case. If you had an opposite source, one more resolutive, Eureka would be fine.
I would listen first Esprit Gaia from pre to amps...
Or even better, i would think to change your Esoteric.
Just my 2 cents.

I started with Eureka, moved up to Gaia, and now have the L'Esprit. Each upgrade brought a very notable sound quality improvement. The Eureka is a great sounding cable, but a maybe a bit darker. Gaia preserves the naturalness of the music, but with added presence, resolution and openness.

Hello thank you all for the feedback.

@stereophonics: in my opinion , Esoteric K01XD sound style is not "opaque"at all. it's also dynamic.
For my culture, I would be interested to know which SACD player has much more resolution and dynamic (according to you). thank you.

It is just my experience.
If you are happy with your Esoteric and Goebel cables, i'm happy to know it.
Your satisfaction is what really matters...

;) . Again, for my culture, I would be interested to know which SACD player has much more resolution and dynamic (according to you). thank you. and i will stop the discussion concerning ESOTERIC K01XD on this thread (not the subject).

Yes it is not the subject. You are happy with your source. Let it be....
Coming back to Esprit, Eureka is a great cable.
I like very much Esprit for that reason. You can play with different ranges with stunning sound in every cases.
What are you missing in your sound? What are you looking for?

System with Eureka cables.
Enstrom pre and amp, Goebel Noblesse speakers, Arya Airblade, crazy system.

hello sterophonics,

I'm particularly impressed by the arya airblade, which also look like the ALIEN (the movie).

You have never tried the Gaïa?

Which crazy source are you using on this crazy system? esprit eureka IC?

nota: Personally , i prefer solid state amps. With my solid state amp, i find the gobel IC is very good.
Generally, The sound of tube amps is warmer (some folks would say "opaque"), but it's a question of taste!

That system isn't mine.
It is an example how good Eureka are.
Yes i have tried Gaia. I use Gaia cables in speaker cables, speaker jumpers, XLR from Dac to pre, from pre to amp, PC on preamp and mono amps.
Eureka line Ethernet cable, power cable to router LPS and Server.
Main and Dac power cables are Siltech Triple Crown.
