its the blanket condemnation of the word audiophile that rasies my ire. I guess we should define what 'audiophile records' are. i think we're confusing recordings made with the express purpose of demonstrating an audio system vs a HQ remaster of a popular recording cut at 45 rpm and pressed on 200g vinyl and/or hires digital formats.

I agree completely!!!!!!

I finally obtained a copy of the vinyl release, and I am very impressed.

Sony/Legacy did a great job on the artwork and overall quality of the product. Their decision to have it mastered by Bernie Grundman and then pressed at QRP was a wise/good one IMO. I think Chad's got himself a primo plant there.

Anyway, I love this record. It's raw, it's fresh, it's basic and bare.....like a jam.
