If you had no financial or real estate constraints, what speaker would you choose? What ancillaries would you choose?

Pass XS300 and XS pre
Wilson Alexia or maybe the XLF if I can get small scale performances correct.

I know I am leaving several respectable brands off. It breaks my heart to leave the Vivid Giya off the list, but it's a system limitation.

Count me in on the full custom horn solution with DHT amps like 801a/211, GM70 or 45 driving 300B in p-p. Though I am not sure who or what sort of system it would be. IMO the smaller Cessaros I have heard at shows are too horny sounding.

Q 7 , but since audio is a losing investment I ll keep the real estate:D

I must say I have not been exposed to a lot off the above mentioned , so it aint worth much

The Thesonusfaber (also known as Fenice). But I would need space and the Audio Research REF750's ...

I have not heard any of the choices enough to make an informed decision. If money, time, and real estate are not an issue then I would try several, each in it's own room/system. That could turn into a full time job in itself I guess.:p

If I had the room I'd be trying a pair of the JBL M2 Reference monitors. And if money was no object I might even opt for the ML amps instead of the crowns...nah, even if the money was meaningless to me I'd get the crows and give the rest to charity.

If I could vote for more than one; add YG Sonja and the big Gens. I saw a pic of the Nola in this thread. It won a Gold Show award last year. In fact, Carl called me yesterday to check our review schedule :)

I really want to hear the Magico Ultimates as well.

Wow!!! Please keep us posted, Peter. Maybe a blog to keep us posted or a periodic video ?

Makes my heart bleed to have left the big Nolas off the list.
