Academy Awards Nominations 2016

Saw it on a plane so the sound and picture didn't make an impression. The story was one nonstop plotless mess. Kudos btw to Lady Gaga. Best thing she has ever done.

What a incredible performance by Lady Gaga. That was even more moving than the video.

Ennio Morricone - Best Musical Score ... 'The Hateful Eight'. ...Awesome!

* Yes, Lady Gaga...she's good. ...And that cause is just.

It's strange...Mad Max is slowing down now, after winning six statuettes.
...But that guy for Short Documentary, the Oscar announcer...he did say Mad Max. :D

I am sorry but the Gaga song blew away all of the rest. Epic fail there by the Academy. No one will remember any of the others.

They must not have heard the songs they voted on. I like Sam Smith but his song for Spectre was terrible.

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu - two years in a row, wow! ...Birdman (last year) and The Revenant (now).

Congrats! ...That's big, that's a big one...awesome!

It wouldn't be the first time!

It's ok Joe; films are very subjective...like music. We all love some films and some music more than others...that's what makes a beautiful human race on a beautiful blue planet.

? ?

But don't forget, 6,000 expert judges on technical merits...voted.

Leo - finally ('The Revenant') - Best Actor

Wow, what a speech too!

...................

And now ... Best Picture: Spotlight - They voted for the biggest Impact.
Extremely important message for the entire human race.

So, biggest (Best) one: Spotlight ? Best Picture + Best Original Screenplay = [[[ 2 ]]] Oscars

Second Best: The Revenant ? Best Cinematography + Best Director & Best Actor = [[[ 3 ]]] Oscars

Third: Mad Max: Fury Road ? Most Oscars [[[ 6 ]]] in total
