I never said they were lean, Steve, I simply said that I didn’t think they were anything special, unlike the Klassik speaker line, which to me does sound very special. It was the other guy, Seagoatleo, saying they were lean.Im bushed with the work done today and the listening Gideon and I did. Let me just say Brad, in my system, my electroncs and my ears there is no leanness whatsoever to this sound. I will go so far in saying that all of my anxieties using my Lamm electronics were quickly put to rest as well as my concerns for the sound stage presentation from a smaller speaker than my Wilson X2 Series ll
For the money Brad they kick ass.Bear in mind the Reference Ultra adds $200K to the tab so I have to think they must be very special more so even than the KlassiK lineI never said they were lean, Steve, I simply said that I didn’t think they were anything special, unlike the Klassik speaker line, which to me does sound very special. I love panel speakers and own soundlab electrostats but I have love what zellaton speakers do , I heard the plural evo in Dallas and I suspect you will be in for a treat , they are great ! Just curious to hear What’s the rest of your system ? Are you on concrete floor or suspended floor ? Room dimensions ?Clarisys Auditoriums but I want a smaller foot print.

Amazing ! Great dimensions , do you have speakers along shorter wall or longer wall ? Panels for sure benefit being along long wall imo , but I would also suggest trying zellaton along longer wall if your room layout permits . Further apart , less toe in … may result in amazing 3D holographic soundstage .My room is 16 x 22 with hardwood and carpet over 8 inches of concrete. Ch M10, L10
and Olympus with on board dac.
