Yellowstone Beth & Rip Spin-off Episode 1 Trailer: A New Beginning!

Yellowstone was my first glimpse into Taylor Sheridan productions and even though the ending was a dud and disappointing I have to admit that I truly enjoyed watching every episode. Many will argue but I loved the role of Beth Dutton even though "still-one" will argue the opposite but to me Beth Dutton was Jim Dutton in a skirt. She was every bit her father's kid. And so the next spin off from Taylor Sheridan was announced as it follows present day Beth and her husband Riip. As my wife told me when Yellowstone was discussed at her book club meetings all the ladies would say "every woman needs a rip in her jeans"

Im looking forward to this

Taylor Sheridan has built a dynasty with all his series, so much so that he and a small group of investors bought the 6666 for yet another spin off presumably with Jimmy as the star

Taylor Sheridan purchased the historic 6666 Ranch (also known as the Four Sixes Ranch) as part of an investment group in January 2022. The ~266,000-acre property, a Texas landmark, was sold by the late Anne Marion's estate for over $320 million.Sheridan, a Texas native and the creator of Yellowstone and its spin-off 6666, now co-owns the ranch, which is expected to be featured in his upcoming spin-off series of the same name.

Key Details:
  • Ranch Name: The 6666 Ranch (also known as the Four Sixes Ranch).

  • Purchase Date: The sale occurred in January 2022.

    • Seller: The late Anne Marion's estate.
    • Buyer: An investment group led by Taylor Sheridan.
    • Price: Over $320 million.
    • Significance: The ranch is a historic Texas property with a rich history in cattle and horse breeding, and it serves as inspiration and a filming location for Sheridan's Yellowstone universe.
    • Future Plans: The ranch is planned to be the setting for the Yellowstone spin-off, 6666.

Steve I also was captivated by the Yellowstone series. It is the modern day equivalent to the long running Dallas series of the 70s - 90s. I wasn't aware the spin-off had been released so thank you for your post.

Big Yellowstone fan here too. I blame the mediocre ending of the series primarily on Costner. Y fans deserved much better. Beth (especially) and Rip have made terrific contributions, and I wish them and their new series much success.

I have enjoyed all of Sheridian's series but I will probably pass on this one. Beth's character almost drove me away from Yellowstone so I really do not need more of her. But then , you never know.

Tulsa King dropped episode one of season 3 last night. It's going to be another great season based on the episode.
