Cool, love his trumpet playing and from the musical scores (motion picture soundtracks) he made in few movies.

* Got several of his CDs (some with HDCD encoding).

Question to all Music lovers here at WBF.

How many albums, total, Miles Davis has recorded in his lifetime?

And good luck! :b

Two Concerti from the 20th Century

Poulenc: Concert Champetre for harpsichord and orchestra with Marriner/Malcolm/ASFM on Argo. One of the last analog Decca recordings and one of the best on this label IMO.
Harpsichord is not spotlit- very natural harpsichord sonics with a BIG orchestral sound.

Ravi Shankar: Concerto for Sitar and Orchestra with Ravi/Previn/LSO on EMI. Fantastic sonics and nice meld of east and west- very accessible music. Ravi is still with us at 91 and still composing, as opposed to decomposing :)
