What's Spinning Tonight?

Sunday morning and I start up the Ascona Neo in the same manner as yesterday, although somewhat different☝:

Roger Waters - Amused To Death, originally from 1992. This however is the remastered reissue from 2015 on 2 x 200g black vinyl at 33rpm. Amazingly good quality on this album and highly recommended! Enjoy ;) !

Continue on the more jazzy theme☝:

Tony Bennett - Live at Carnegie Hall, in June 9, 1962. Originally released in 1962, this however is the remastered reissue from 2014. Recorded in ”Stereo 360 Sound” on 2 x 180g black vinyl at 33rpm.

Played back here in simulated 7.4 surround sound via the Ortofon MC Diamond to get that old fashion feel…. I tell you guys… It’s like sitting on the very first row at the C H, having Tony Bennett just a few meters infront of you. God Damn this recording is good!!!!

Reviewed by Michael Fremer in 2014, who gave it 10/11 on music and 11/11 on sound quality. Highly recommended :D !!!

On the massive sandwiched Ascona platter right now☝:

Barry White - Grandes Exitos (Greatest Hits).
This particular album was made in Spain in 1975, and actually sounds really really good.

This album was bought by my parents back in 1975 on one of their trips to Mallorca.. LOL.
It somehow ended up in my collection :D, which ofcourse I am very happy for.
