What's Spinning Tonight?

Saxophone Colossus, Way Out West - Sonny Rollins
Art Pepper meets the Rhythm Section
These three are 192/24 2ch only DVDa's and are superbly remastered 60's sessions and IMHO upto now the
definitive releases of these sessions. JVC's K2 h/w was tweaked for the mastering.

Seems appropriate with the slingin' in the 192/24 thread.
I have the above in so many formats/versions its a running joke.

I got Dexter Gordon "Go" on the RTR that I made from the Analogue Productions Blue Note re-master @ 45rpm. I did it at 15ips with IEC eq. It's a good sounding tape. A very good sounding tape. :)

Distillation - Wishbone Ash Box Set

I like this one quite a bit, I have to admit that they have always been a favorite group. The remastering is well done to my ears. Course, as with many compilations, the sequencing feels weird compared to the original lp's.

Verse - Patricia Barber MoFi SACD
Eat A Peach - Allman Bros Mercury SACD
Beethoven Sonatas| Rubenstein Living Stereo SACD

This Side - Nickel Creek sacd
Both Sides Now - Joni Mitchell DVDA mlp
Beethoven| String Quartets Vol1 - Auryn Quartet Tacet DVDA not mlp

For those who want something really good, check out the album I listened too yesterday. Nils Lofgren, Acoustic Live. Awesome album and thanks goes out to whomever answered my question as to who was playing when I asked in a you-tube video posted somewhere in the depths of the forum. Much appreciated! This is actually how I learned of this album. I have already listened to it 3 times since I played it for the first time. Anyhoo, I do believe it's time for some...

Another great album, if you ask me. Great talent.

Cliff Craft, by Cliff Jordan. The first record I've received from my subscription to the latest Blue Note 45rmp reissues. Excellent!
