Whaaooo !!!!!
I love this album sooo much!! My parents bought it when it came out in 1976, and I remember as a kid, listening to the album with my father’s headphones.. Sometimes I played out loud on my father’s old Luxor stereo set with the 2-way Luxor speakers, but my mom usually went ballistic when I cranked the volume up… so headphones it was.. LOL…!!
Later on… My father handed over his small vinyl collection to me, and I still play this awesome album quite often… Love it☝!
If you know the story, you may notice that Sakamoto's musical diary silences and stops. Do the Japanese find something in life and death that we in the west don't understand: not fear or despair, but peace of mind when you realise there's not much time left. Listening to this, you know you've reached the border, from where you'll move to the other side. It's a beautiful spring day when I listen to this album. I find strength in this music.
The sun often shines over my little town these days.
Sunny spring weather almost makes the stereo sound better.
Eivor is in charge of the entertainment and the coffee will be ready any second.
You actually have a good reason to feel happy and relaxed.

Streaming right now… Sounds big and mighty on my system. Tight and fast bass and an amazing voice she has, Eivør - Cool! Thank you Peter for posting. This one is definitely on my shopping list now.
