What's Spinning Tonight?

Johan, his voice is outstanding. I think i have all albums they ever made but I'm not 100% sure.;)
At 17, I was a long hair metal maniac who wore a jacket with a big W.A.S.P patch on the back.(headless chilldren patch) great time i miss it today.
One of my favorite songs ever.
Love it !!

Back in the 80’s, there was a BIG debate on TV due to the ”Dangerous Heavy Metal” wave sweeping over our country… LOL..!! This was right after WASP had played a major gig in Stockholm, where journalists had heard the song ”F*** Like An Animal ”!!!

Today that debate has a cult status in Sweden… LOL… so funny !!

I thought WASP was a glam metal hair band like Poison or Twisted Sister. I never viewed their music as "dangerous heavy metal"... lol

interesting johan, a little later Sweden, Finland became the metal stronghold in Europe. Maybe because it was discussed in public:p. So many good bands come from Scandinavia

Dimmu Borgir & Slipknot are dangerous.
Have you seen the vids from Slipknot concerts? The audience is in a trance...
It was not for nothing that I mentioned that fans set fire to a church. It happened in Norway. But they are not fans of the music, they are something else entirely. This is a topic that has nothing to do with music.
still I like the music of these bands.
P.S
everything that did not conform to the norm was classified as subversive in the 1980s:D

I understand your point and that sort music insights violence, whether from fans or some neo-Nazi skinhead faction. Thug life isn't just for rappers...just saying.

There are pieces of music that are so melodious that your heart just melts listening to them. Gabriel Faure’s Elegy is one of them. In this crazy world we are living in, music remains a solace for the soul. Beautiful recording of cello and harp.

No, back in the day they weren’t. They were revolutionary hard and rough as a heavy metal band. No one was even close! They were trend setters for the future of heavy metal. Remember this was the early 80’s !
