Curious if you have some of these reels on vinyl and if so, which you like better?

Thanks Bruce. Can I ask what sources you have for vinyl and tape? Do you consider them equal?

Apologies for the many questions, I'm asking wondering if it makes sense to dive into tape for the best sounding media for some music.

My top tapes are not necessarily the best sonically, but just special combination of performance and sound.

1. Tchaikovsky 6th symphony - Mravinsky/Leningrad Phil (GDRZ archive tape of a DGG recording)
2. Schubert Arpeggione sonata - Rostropovich/Britten (Decca production master)
3. Beethoven Violin concerto - D. Oistrakh/Cluytens (Japanese Angel 4-track tape)
4. Royal Ballet Gala Performance - Ansermet/Orchestra of the Royal Opera Covent Garden (Decca production master)
5. Hindemith violin concerto/Bruch Scottish Fantasy - D. Oistrakh/Horenstein (Tape Project)
