I’d like to share my personal experience with this wonderful brand of audio cables—Vyda.

I first heard about Vyda six months ago, during a listening session in Germany. The system featured Soulution electronics, fully wired with Vyda cables, and paired with Magico speakers. I was immediately struck by the transparency, speed, and musicality of the setup. The impression was so strong that, upon returning home, my first thought was to reach out to Vyda.

That’s when I met Enrico, the owner of Vyda. He was extremely polite and offered me the opportunity to test one of his cables in my own system. I began with two Koral amp power cables, specially designed for high-current amplifiers.

The Koral cable is quite massive and meticulously engineered: it features 100% shielding, silvered copper conductors, and rhodium-coated connectors housed in proprietary Inox 303 steel caps. This construction ensures minimal electromagnetic interference and optimal conductivity—essential for amplifiers like the Soulution 700, which demand uncompromising performance.

After integrating the Vyda Koral Amp Power Cables into my system, specifically paired with the Soulution 700 mono amplifiers, the results were nothing short of transformative. The cables complement the Soulution’s technical capabilities beautifully. Their shielding and conductor quality preserve the amplifier’s transparency and dynamic range, allowing its sonic character to shine through without coloration or bottlenecking.

Listening Impressions

  • Soundstage: Noticeably expanded, with improved depth and layering.
  • Microdynamics: Subtle shifts in volume and texture are more perceptible.
  • Bass: Tighter and deeper, with better control.
  • Highs: Airy and extended, yet smooth.
  • Overall Clarity: Enhanced resolution without harshness.
The journey will continue testing Vtda PD1 (Power distributor) - I am currently waiting for a complete burn-in before sharing my thoughts.

  • Chiarezza complessiva : risoluzione migliorata senza asprezza.

Prior Vyda which powercords did you use?
Gunnar

I am using Acrolink - power cords: 9500, 8100 legenda, 8100 perf, 6300IV XLR and S20000 as speaker cable.

Thanks,

Never heard of that brand neither. If I didn’t make a mistake the Vyda is more or less in the same price range as Acrolink. Then it’s impressive that the Vyda “wins” so easily. Congratulations.

Myself I moved up from Naims SuperLines power cord to OePhi Reference. Got the same result as you but the Reference cables was 4 times more expensive so maybe more logical.

Power cords makes a difference. When I got my first Reference I hadn’t received the Chord M6 distribution block so no possibility to connect it to the electronics so connected it to the Super3 feeding the ADOT converter. Even that made a really noticeable improvement. It replaced a Vertere ReLine.

Yes you’re right, Vyda is almost in the same range of price with Acrolink (famous Japanese cable brand with is doing also esoteric cables for Esoteric electronics). I hope Vyda will be more visible in the next coming years, they are making very good cables.

If you come to the Gran Gala in Milan on Saturday or Sunday, October 11th or 12th, you'll definitely meet Enrico Datti, owner of Vyda, who will be present in some of the demo rooms. Keep in mind that the High End Audio event will also be held in Milan on the same days. With one trip, you'll get two trade shows. They may not be as interesting as Munich, but they don't eat up the most prestigious brands.IMG_0336.jpegIMG_0335.png
