Wanda is a fine performer but the instrument she plays, made by the French piano builder Playel, produces the kind of sound Bobvin hates. The Playel is called a 'plucking piano' by the harpsichord aficionados.

A recording that better presents the sound of a real harpsichord is ‘Giacomo Frobergue: Suittes de Clavessin’, Blandine Verlet on Astree AS5. The instrument is refurbished Ruckers from 1624.

I understand about the different sound between harpsichords. I thought maybe Wanda's sheer talent would give Bob a different perspective.
