Wasn't apparent to me why Verizon was interested in Yahoo until I read that they already owned AOL. Somehow I missed their AOL acquisition.

AT&T bought Directv while Verizon is getting out of the TV business.

Looks like nobody wants to be in the landline phone business.....and maybe mobile phones, too.

More companies want to emulate the Google ad revenue model. Definitely working for Google.
