Uriah Heep Appreciation thread

Tonight I had a long session with the old English group; Uriah Heep...
If you have never heard them and you like rock and especially synth music...well IMHO,
you are in for a treat
Ken Hensley is a true master of the Moog.
The whole band just is phenom, again IMHO
Maybe start with Uriah Heep'Live' on the Bronze label to hear this group
Anyone else like their music?

Ask Tim de Paravicini about Ken. They went to school together in the UK; think Ken now lives in Fl. Interesting note about Ken in HS from Tim: "He was a cocky little sucker."

Just got Uriah's "Look at Yourself", which has contributions from Osibisa and Manfred Mann. Also, Miles Davis "On the Corner" and Joan Armatradung "To the Limit", all three on vinyl LP's in Santa Cruz (for a grand expenditure of $3.75)

"Look at Yourself" is a real pleasure, the vinyl is very well recorded, synths are great.
