We are upgrading our system. I am hoping the cables can stay the same. We seldom stream but listen to purchased downloads, mostly of classical music, mostly baroque. I've included system below, but really, an idea of which cables are most important would be great.

Starlink router—Wireworld red tape starlight ethernet to English switch. Source is Nucleus—Chord Indigo cable to switch, Aqua LinQ streamer—Wireworld platinum starlight to switch, Aqua LinQ to Aqua Formula DAC—Wireworld platinum starlight, DAC to Accuphase c2900 preamp—Wireworld platinum eclipse, preamp to Accuphase p7500 power amp—Wireworld platinum eclipse, power amp to Sonus Faber Amatis—Chordmusic speaker cables (will keep as is). (Power chords are Nordost Heimdall and Frey, should be okay as is).

I've used WireWorld for years, mostly Platinum but some of the others as well. They are very solid performers and I still hold them in high regard. I've also been a fan of smaller brands like Audio Art and Triode Wire Labs so I also use their cables here and there in my different systems.

Lately I stumbled on a new smaller brand called Veritas Cables. They originally sold only on US Audio Mart but now expanded with a proper website. I took a chance on them for some interconnects (not really much of a risk though, they have a generous return policy) and I loved them. So I tried their USB cable, loved that too, then power and AES and on and on. Now my entire main system is almost exclusively Veritas. Their direct sales plus lean operation means pricing is crazy good for what you get. I think the USB cable was $400 and I prefer it over several $1k+ options after direct comparisons. Plus they are really nice folks who always steer me right and don't try to upsell.

My latest adventure involves I2S via HDMI cables. After experimenting with about 10 different models ranging from $100 to $1500, I like the Veritas Optimus the best. And it is under $300.

Again, your WireWorld cables are great though, nothing wrong with continuing to use those if you are happy with them. In order of importance I personally rank it interconnects, then digital, then power cables. I don't think that is set in stone though, probably varies depending on your unique audio chain. Whatever you do, if you end up trying out some new cables, make sure you go with a dealer or direct sales brand that allows low risk returns. Usually it just costs you shipping if you don't end up keeping the cable, which is not a big deal for the chance to give it a spin in your setup. That's the only way to be sure.

Thank you!
