two Jeff Rowland 625 or get the 725 monos?

Always go double mono over bridged if you have the option.

musicargyle, while I agree with what Greg said above, I think you may have to re-consider what you are trying to accomplish. Your room is huge! So much so, that you may need larger speakers, subwoofers and room treatments. IMO, you may want to look into a subwoofer(s) with it's own amplification first before adding amplification/power to the Revel's.

HI
FOr starters you don't get 600 watts This has been discussed in another thread. You do however get much more dynamic headroom. From what I remember the Revel Salon 2, a marvelous speaker is of low sensitivity. It requires a lot of power to get going. The room is also extremely large. Biamping will certainly help. To me the preferable solution over the monoblocks.

You specifically mentioned Rowland amplifiers. But In such a large room and inefficient speakers I would advise to go for even more power. If you are open to other brand of amplifiers, the Bryston 28 B mono and the Revel Salon 2 are a very good, very compelling combination that you could try to audition.

or....more room treatment :)

I heard the new Compasse speakers from Avalon at their factory in Boulder, Co. powered by a single 301 amp from Rowland, the demo room is HUGE, but I never noticed a lack of power or detail at all (check my photo elsewhere here at the Avalon section).

A 60' long listening room? Really?

Thanks all:
... 2. Using 2 625 's connected via the two gain matched XLR outputs on the Rowland Corus pre amp allows user to have two full function stereo amps (one dedicated to the top frequencies , the other to the bottom) by way of the REVELS SALON 2's 4 TERMINAL set up. You must have two identical sets of IC's pre to amps, two matching sets/pairs of speaker wire ,and two matching power cords. Gain matching is PERFECT thanks to the Rowland Corus pre (there are even gain matched RCA outs as as well. The salon cross-over determines the high/low cut-off. This is true vertical bi amping (Sometimes done at JRDG in Colorado Springs fro testing and confirmed by many calls to JR himself ) This produces 600 watts pre side w/ two 625's. ...

I don't get your explanation
In order to double the power, you should have an active crossover between pre and power amps. Only in that way you'd have each stereo amp working at full power on a given share of the frequency range.
In your case, you'd have both 625s releasing 300W into their standard frequency response range, with the passive crossover inside your Revels filering. That way, you'd "waste" power from each 625. Let's say that each amp might be set to work more comfortably on a specific load (since JRDG gear can be finely set for gain), but you wouldn't get doubled power.
