Anyone have any experience positive or negative with this DAC? Someone offered me a lightly used pre-owned one. The whole Thrax line intrigues me but I can't find much in the way of reviews. I've read interviews with Rumen Artarski and he sounds like a really interesting and creative designer.

I have heard the Thrax R2R dac in the Thrax enyo integrated. It is really really good. So if it is any indication of how good the Maximinimux VII dac is, I would not hesitate to audition it as a stand alone DAC streamer.
