The Grid Protector, the EMI Protector and The Allocator By Schnerzinger-In My System and I’m Blown Away

Consider that differences are bigger, the more revealing the setup already is. So I think Steve didn't make the experiment to compare GRID, Multiguards and EMI without Reflector to Reflector without the other three. The result might be different from what he seems to have compared (add the Reflectors after the other three were in place already). Usually it's no fun and hurts too much to remove everything, even just for an experiment, but I did it a few times. One falls back on technical Hifi sound from the past, not good.

I’m just saying that I agree everything becomes cumulative but when the Reflectors were added there was a huge jump , more so than when adding the other pieces.

That is a strong statement. Because it means that the effect of your Reflector 4-piece set on you is greater than the effect of your GRID plus Multi Guards plus EMI combined.

I would have assumed that all these devices have roughly comparable value for money. I will not make this comparison, because these devices complement each other and each has become indispensable to me.
Ya guess too it's hard to decide for every component. I am having the EMI and GRID Protectors, and wonder how much of a difference the Reflectors would make - and how they are related actually to the two protectors?

That’s a great question. All I can say is what I heard in my system and the Reflector up tick is huge.

From what I understand the Reflector has Giga Canceling+ which is an extended tech. Might the Reflectors be be worth replacing EMI + Grid protectors?

I honestly don’t know Jason. I have them all and there was always a gain with each addition BUT when I added the Reflector it was huge

no.

The GRID addresses the power area and thus a completely different issue.

The EMI, on the other hand, works in the room area and thus in the same area as the new Reflector. That's why I had the same question and asked Schnerzinger. The answer was clear: no!

Even though the Reflector is based on improved technology, addresses the entire room, and brings incredible improvements, the EMI still provides a significant added value for the important near field, even when used in combination with the Reflector. For me, this is the area between the speakers and with the hi-fi equipment.

...gents, I hope you won't interpret this post as an "attack" as that is not my intent.

I have followed this thread diligently, read the website docs (which have improved) and whatever reviews I could find.

Net-net: this is one of the most confusing set of product offerings I have seen.

I have resisted personal pursuit because these solutions seem all over the place. Further, it's the case that I would have small "boxes" behind the gear, in front of the gear/speakers, and elsewhere in the room.

Do I have that correct?

Thank you.

Haha I absolutely get you :)
This might seem really weird and is far from the typical HiFi accessoires. There is also very little specific information available how the tech in various products work. Though whatever Schnerzinger invented (and obviously isn’t keen on sharing in more detail) works surprisingly well.
Just for example give the wall socket a try. Over time I have compared various and used the top of the line Furutech till I switched to Schnerzinger which made a noticeable improvement.
So their stuff works, though I absolutely agree unfortunately it’s quite difficult to get an understanding how various products are used or relate to each other.

Not sure they are all over the map but rather new users and proposed users asking questions.

Markus reach out to your dealer for a demo . I am betting all your thoughts and uncertainties will be answered.

The issue is that there is really no information on their website apart from some rudimentary explanation along with a simple user manual for each product. I agree about the antennas especially since the recommendation for best efficacy is to have them 40" off the floor.

This is truly not "the pied piper"nor is it drinking the kool aid but rather an amazing clarity with each added product. I dont use their AC outlets and what I have now will suffice. I followed the reviews on the Reflector when. it was launched at Munich and one very prominent person stated that the Reflector for him was the single best product he has heard in his 30 years in the audio industry.

These are indeed bizarre little boxes that do look weird in my room but I can say in all honesty that the effect they bestowed is something that having heard makes it such that they are now an integral part of my system.

Does this also apply to Grid and EMI protector too?

Who was the prominent person resp. where can I find the review of him about Reflector?

It was in a private email to me which I still have. He is a CEO of a large company in Europe
