The Dynaudio Arbiters are here

Superb eye candy on this thread. Luv it

Then maybe we should continue with the preamplifier I am going to use with the Magico Q7 and Dynaudio Arbiter combination. In this case it is the Lyra Connoisseur 3.0 preamplifier with its two external power supplies (one for each channel). It is a full function preamplifier with a built-in phono stage but I will use it only as a linestage. I think the finish of the Lyra Connoisseur match the finish of the Dynaudio Arbiter quite well. In the background you can also see the CD source I will use for this system (MBL 1621A transport + MBL 1611F DAC). I am sorry for the quality on these photos. They have been shot with my iPhone.

Roysen - you are helping to raise the standards of excellence at WBF with every picture! I am very very interested in learning more about the 3 systems you are building as they 'come alive'. I have spoken with one reviewer whose opinion i respect, and he recalls your preamp as one of the all time greats in his history. I think he still owns his.

Oh, and by the way I think it's cool that Magico put a picture of my speaker on the front page of their website.

I am sorry that I have not been able to update this thread as much as I had hoped to. Right before Easter I had a regular checkup at the hospital and unfortunatly they found a tumor in my big intestant. So my mind is not exactly on hifi these days. On top of everything I will of course need to remove the tumor and this will happen at exactly the time when the Magico Q7 will be installed in my home. So I need to let my girlfriend open the house to Alon Wolf and his crew to install the speakers while I am not at home. At least I will have something to look forward to when I get home.

A lot of my hifi plans needs to be delayed now but at least the Magico Q7 with the Dynaudio Arbiter and the Lyra Connoisseur 3.0 will be a major tool for strength and motivation during my fight through this.

I just thought you should know in case you wondered what happend to the updates in this thread.

Roysen,

I am really sorry to hear that. Be strong. Take care of your health first. And hope the audio is helpful in the recovery. Best wishes and prayers.

Mycket tråkigt att höra. Hoppas på en snabb återhämtning! Låt musiken hjälpa till att läka dina sår!

Keep your chin up and don't let it change your plans!

Roysen... Sorry to hear ... our thoughts and prayers , with you during these difficult times . Godspeed with your recovery .

Thanks guys! This means a lot to me.

In regards to my plans, they will only change in terms of what time it will require to complete them.

Thanks,
Roy

Hi Roysen, my very good friend Boone has the exact same thing than you; I just learned it two days ago.

1. They emptied his stomach of fluids.
2. They are going to reduce his tumor by 80% using laser technology.
3. ...That's all they can do because the tumor's size is of a tennis ball.
* No more alcohol, and no cigarettes either, of course.

I pray, with all my soul, for my good friend Boone, and for you too.
