Pretty sure that @keithc was asking what DC power supply you intend to use with your new Taiko switch.for Power i am using PS Audio PS 20 Power Plantgood stuff IMO.

ohhh, i have MCRU power supply (430 GBP )that i used with m-scaler back in the day for 12V, feel free to recommend a good one if possible.Pretty sure that @keithc was asking what DC power supply you intend to use with your new Taiko switch.

A JS-2 has been working here for years and years without a hiccup. Very solid unit....hmmm. I wonder if an UptoneAudio JS-2 would work?

JS-2 Linear Power Supply
Dual-output, choke-filtered linear power supply with four user-selectable DC output voltages. 5 amps continuous at any voltage; Up to 6.8 amps.uptoneaudio.com
The Extreme Switch undergoes the most notable changes (an increase in liquidity, flow, and calmness) in the first hours, and then days. As it beds in further after that, changes can still be observed, but they become ever subtler. Even from the very first moment you start using it, however, the Switch sounds fluid, smooth, and organic.i ordered the taiko extreme switch! 4-9 weeks of waiting starts now.
i heard that it needs 3 months+ to burn in. did anyone notice performance changes from day 1 vs 1 month etc?
i will use it with Antipodes k50 streamer. my current switch is LHY Audio SW-10 (1200$ or so) seems like it can't scale up with my DAC/AMP and make the sound brighter than it should, so i am going Taiko switch to take care of the final bottle neck in my setup.
hopefully then sound will calm down and be as refined as possible.
Thanks for the recommendation, i am also thinking about 2x of these, 12v Battery, they give 3 hours easy, super dead quiteA JS-2 has been working here for years and years without a hiccup. Very solid unit.

have anyone tried Battery Option yet?
...that is the real limitation for me with the external battery, I agree. It introduces a level of vigilance I don't like.major inconvenience factor with batteries
Use the soft black cloth that came with the unit(s). If needed, use mild soap and a similar lint-free / Microfiber cloth. Take care not to use excessive force when wiping the surface, especially when using a towel or an old T-shirt, as this may leave superficial scratches. What is the best way to clean the switch (and router) case surface?

Hi Fred,Hi, I’m interested to improve the Fiber input for my Grimm MU1. Please allow me to pick your brain(s)
How would you describe the effect of adding an Taiko Extreme Network Card in a server? Substantial, minor, ..? (Without an external switch)
And, would it be feasible to install the Taiko Extreme Network Card with a third party server?
Assuming that the card can be powered by the MU1 power supply, ideally the Taiko card would be placed inside the MU1 and connected with the computer board directly.
Could this be a path worthwhile to explore? Or - which I can imagine- will the Taiko network card only work with Taiko products?
I’m currently using a simple external fiber media converter (small device), which is powered via the MU1’s 5V USB output, which brings a good improvement. I’m not keen in adding more boxes & cables, hence the thought to add a better media converter/card internally (or in smallish external box, powered by the MU)
