the Weiss has 2.5mm connector on 1 side, and fisher on the PSU 102 output. Also connector length is ok.

For those of you with experience:

I'm going direct from the Taiko Extreme Switch to EMM Labs DA2i DAC/streamer, and use a Nordost QSource to power the Switch.

Would it be a better investment to get a DCD to clean up the DC to my Router, OR something like a Muon Pro filter to clean up the ethernet signal between Router and DAC/streamer?

I'm wondering why you feel you need to clean up the ethernet signal out of the Taiko Router?

In my experience with a variety of devices to variously "filter" or otherwise improve or remove noise on ethernet, including some expensive ones, as the rest of my system got better I found that all they were doing was rolling off the top end.

I find the DCD, while expensive, does everything Taiko claims it does and with your choices of DCD outputs you can do some tailoring of sound quality without throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I have found that there is still some noise and grit, even with my QSource, Omega ethernet cables, and Altaira system. I have also found that filters do both give and take away, often making things too smooth or rolled off in exchange for lower noise. If I can clean up the power to the switch further, that seems probably the best way to go, but so many people have recommended the Muon Pro I was curious.

Adding the Router is a bigger investment for farther down the line.

There is no harm in pushing the envelope as far as one can, until the next big leap. IME/IMO. YMMV. To me, that's part of the journey and a heck of a lot of fun.

No worries, Ian. Re-reading your post more carefully I can see I somehow made the assumption the router you were talking about was the Taiko router. I don't see that you ever claimed it was the Taiko router. So my bad.

Although I've read of some folks here using devices between their Taiko router and Taiko switch you might find the addition of the Taiko router makes those devices superfluous.

But it's hard to make a definitive statement because we're talking nuance and taste in sound quality as much as anything. I'd never presume to say what someone else should like. And while I find the devices I've tried were a mixed blessing at best and not to my liking, system synergy and preference might dictate differently for another person.

It's all good.

if you plan to add the T router, I would recommend to get the DCD.
You avoid the cost of a second decent power supply.
A single lps with DCD is sonically superior to two lps, Taiko advised us earlier. Less noise.
