Not me but a friend came to my place to demo my setup because he wanted to go up from some KEF Reference 201/2 (he has a ripped woofer on one of them from it being moved to his new space) and didn't like any speakers he had already demoed as most things are just vaingloriously coloured in presentation for his leanings.
After the demo he was interested in MoFi but not the 888 so I recommended to him the Sourcepoint 10 Master Edition which is large for a standmount but will serve him well till he has the time to get a subwoofer to integrate.
And he's been overjoyed with them in his space with their low slung stands

Sonner Legato Unum. Smaller room and prefer the detail in the mid-bass over a tower, though I did hookup my towers today for giggles. I enjoy them but prefer the stand mounts.

2-ways can have a certain magic... Many, many years ago the Energy Pro 22 speakers, a Floyd Toole design, floated my boat. The "hyper dome" tweeter apparently took lots of research, time and money to develop. Didn't look like much, but was very musical. Only a Thiel CS 2.x (3-way) driven by early Nelson Pass amplifier sounded better to me at the time. These (legendary) guys knew what they were doing!

I have some Energy speakers in my storage closet. Not sure the model, Noel says I am a pack rat when comes to audio gear. Fortunately 2 of my 3 adult children are were bitten by the Audiophile bug....they already have a plan for when I am gone...Jake gets the tube gear and Amanda gets the SS gear and my TT.
