Oh yes, you know who that is (person not dog :) ).

I would have loved to hear that system. You just know that Frank had some first generation master tapes to play back on his 3 channel rig.

Are those unopened packs of cigarettes in that big bowl? Man, how things have changed.

No doubt Frank was the epitome of cool but I'd rather see Ava Gardner in the photo:)

She certainly was no dog.
I'm trying to figure this room out. Do you think it is a 'green room,' like a hang for performers? It almost looks like a hotel room or commercial/institutional type door/lock. That would also explain the bowl of ciggies.
Myles, any info on the pic?

I'm pretty sure that is Frank's house of the day. No hotel room would be decorated like that nor would it have any stereo gear in it.

It looks like his apartment.

Altec speakers (?) Thought they matched the same Altecs used in his studio.

Ampex 300-2 1/2 (head stack for his 3 track dubs?), though here he is playing a commercially recorded tape.,

Question is how did he get the middle channel?

Sometime according to Steve Hoffman, Frank played dubs of his United/Western stuff in three track.
