So I bought I pair of Rockports...

Those crates can be used as homeless shelters.

Sorry, living part time in Santa Cruz has infiltrated my vibe.

Wow, John - congrats ! I'm jealous. Can't wait to hear your impressions after they settle in.

Presume set up is still ongoing? update? ;)

Sounds like a Star Wars episode!!!...

...a long long time to wait...in a sound room far far away...

Beginning the dial in process...and clean up...

Nice!

I am available for adoption!

Oh, they're a lot shorter than the Maxx 3's...

Hi they are shorter...and much deeper (and heavier). 6 guys to get up the stairs. Not a single scratch on the wall or anything on a speaker. I have to admit...I couldn't watch em move em...I just didn't want to see :)...they did a great job.

The tweeter is only 3-4 inches lower than my Maxx 3's...

The are not dialed in yet...we got the room cleaned up and stuff put away. They've been paying now for about 2 hours...I can hear them opening up. My dealer comes back tomorrow and I guess we finish up

I can already say wow....more to come.

Guys...thanks so much for all the well wishes and complements. Any of you are welcome to visit anytime !

Actually, you may get a cheap pair of rockports if I don't go spend some time with my better half tonight !!

Took a lil better pic...they are not cleaned up yet (frisk and tape residue)...

They look great John! Good luck with them.

I'm looking forward to hearing how these were an improvement over your Maxxes.

Those look just gorgeous John, holy cow! I'm in Austin quite often as I have a large client there, I may hit you up for a drop by. I'll bring the beverages!

Yum...I like beverages :)

Congrats! Look forward to reading all about them!

Haven't heard a peep from you John.
