Any experience with Silnote? They are all over Audiogon with crazy discounts even on show cables. Silnote Audio Orion-M1 Master Reference Series $995 for $4599 MSRP.
I had an entire loom of Silnote Morpheous Reference lll cables for a couple of years. I especially liked the digital coax, which I still have tucked away in the closet in case I need it again someday..I found them to be livley, detailed, and smooth. I gave them to my brother and he prefers them to the Straightwire he was using. They always have "the customer appreciation sale" going on so that's just a normal thing for them. They are nicely built cables and worth an audition.
When I changed speakers to Zu Omen Defs which are so dynamic that the Silnotes weren't the ideal fit any longer.
I've had Silnote Morpheous, Poseidon and Orion lines of cables both RCA and digital SPDIF,. They are well made, and I found them non-fatiguing, pretty balanced across the spectrum, and worked well with any of my tube integrated amps, tube preamp and also solid state amp. I got the bug to try some other cables otherwise I'd still have them.
