I can say this with great certainty that my system has never sounded better. I am happy I took this journey, I am happy I did the work, I am happy I made the investment. I am un happy that I have to pull it apart to ship my speakers to CAPFEST lol however they will return in time for the Wadax Seminar in early December.
I have always felt that one can achieve amazing sound with digital it was just a matter of understanding it and how to get the most out of it.
Each format has its own issues and anomalies and figuring out how to get around them makes all the difference in the world.
AI don't use a TT but I do know tha tthe smallest adjustments can make huge differences. The same is true for digital but those adjustments are very different.
Shunyata gear addresses noise in all forms. The removal of the noise allows the source to be at its best and I own an amazing source.
I have to say that Omega X speaker cables are ...

No Hum No Heat No Buzz on their power distributors.

No Battery Packs No Network Boxes on their speaker cables and interconnects.

Very compelling...

Just to complete the thread and my statements I bought the speaker cables and interconnects of Omega X. I am X'd out. I am thrilled at the results and I know this really works for me , my system and my room.

I currently own the Omega XLR signal cables and I'm curious how they tweaked these. As you somewhat alluded to, these Omega X signal cables have the same tech on paper, if maybe implemented differently.

I can only speak from a purely qualitative perspective: the only things I've found a bit lacking from the Omegas has been tone color and midrange fullness, esp compared to copper cables. No doubt it can always get better, but low noise, black background, detail, and speed of the previous generation seem to faultless. For me to upgrade I think I'd need to hear more richness and body.

Maybe this seems like a contradiction in terms, transparent and rich, but if you know EMM Labs gear, you know what this means.

First I did not have Omega to start with. I was using something else and I was happy with it. I started by changing out from Denali 600v2 and Typhon T2 to Everest X ( ihad already tried and purchased a bunch of Sigma X power cords ) . I then did ALtaira to ALtaira X and the new XC ground cables. I was thrilled with this as the noise reduction that comes from all different sources allowed me to much more of the music and the space within the music. I finally caved and when the Omega X signal cables became available I had an event and tried them. I think the interconnect was good and there was a reasonable difference in again space and air along with a clarity that was great, not sharp or etched , just a more feeling. The speaker wires , now that is a whole different ball game. The entire spectrum of music is just layed out in space, great clarity, tone, feel, and what a great groove. The you are there is there more. These are for me a keeper and I hated to buy the, LOL but alas I did. Its hard as a dealer to invest in certain products since they don't sell a lot and they aren't sexy but these IMO were worth my money and so I took the leap.
