I am looking to buy a copy of Ray Charles, "Genius After Hours" ATL 1369. I see there are mono and stereo versions. The mono is the version I will go for. I see there are some noted to have the "white fan" and "black fan" logo on the Lp's label. Does anyone know if there are any differnces btwn those two. I take it the "white fan" logo is an earlier pressing.
It's interesting that "The Great Ray Charles" ATL 1259, was recored at the same time. Rhino's reissue is in stereo and doesn't sound like it was re-engineered as such. One of the best Lp's I own! Any chance the later stereo pressings of "Genius After Hours" are any good?
