Ok yes this work on set freq ranges based on size of the core and materials
In theory it’s good but most use them on dc power

on a ac power cord it can help but you need two one for each conductor non on the ground
to do so you need to do at the outlet or inside the device
it’s a high freq Choke many power conditioning unites have them inside
