Phase Plugs B&W CDM1 SE and proper positioning

Should Phase Plugs on CDM1SE speakers be tight against the woofer or loose? They have screw on and does moving then away from the woofer create more or less cancellation?

Should Phase Plugs on CDM1SE speakers be tight against the woofer or loose? They have screw on and does moving then away from the woofer create more or less cancellation?

They should be screwed in tightly, and they shouldn't touch the diaphragm at all.
