Saw Ozzy fronting Black Sabbath somewhere around 1971/72. The Commack Arena after a Long Island Ducks hockey Game. They covered the ice rink with flooring or plywood. You could feel the cold of the ice below your feet. 1500 or so drunk teenagers piled into that place. They were touring in support of the release Master of Reality and I think that's when I learned what head banging music was. That's also when my tinnitus started. Black Sabbath was one of one back then and Ozzy was in charge. It was a 2 hour riot and everyone limped home. Never saw them live again. Didn't have to, that sort of thing you don't forget.
