Not much love for non-mac side?

There's not much love on the non-Mac side. Love, passion, brand loyalty, fanboyism...that's Mac. Windows? More like an old marriage that hasn't exactly gone bad it has just become tedious, loveless, an exercise in quiet, desperate utility.

Tim...it seems like there is a lot of love for the non-Mac side after all . Some of the Munich setups used Windows based systems - and Mac was well represented also. Maybe some of your descriptions about Mac users don't matter to Windows and Linux users (many of which are associated with group think). I think it all comes down to user preference ... Just like everything else in our hobby.

I bought one of the original Macs when it had no hard drive. I bought it as DOS was a piece of cr_p. But my music server is a Mac Mini running Windows 7 and using JRivers MC-19. I control it with a Macbook Pro.

A Mac running Windows 7 is because of JRiver and being able to alter the OS more easily than the Apple OS. I play double DSD for cds through material recorded in double DSD.
