I think the GT-R set a new production car record at Nurburgring, it's a compelling car... so many amazing cars in this segment though, shopping for a ~$200kish sports car would be a lot of fun.

I've got some pics on my phone taken a couple of weeks ago from the local dealership.

I thought it truly vile looking. Totally gross in the flesh. Tacky to the extreme. And I drove Mercedes for 13 years until I started driving Porsches. Better I think.

You need to see it. That matt grey looks very odd indeed in the flesh, and the cockpit is gross.

the GT3 PDK did a 7:12 Nurmburgring lap time.

the MB is an 'R', track focused like the GT3. the GT3 is 500 pounds lighter and 'only' has 500 Hp. the MSRP of the GT3 is $20k below 'that' GT R in the video.
