Montagna,my speaker company,is doing a new driver similar but bigger with 7 magnet instead 1
Magnet are in Maxalco, that is Alnico V with crystal oriented.
This will increase efficiency, dynamic, transparence and will be more fast having much more energy
He will do tweeter, mid, bass and sub with this driver

You can see the difference between magnet of my speaker near the new magnetic group of new driver
Weight around 40 kg

Holy crap, Gian. That is some motor. Will you upgrade your drivers with this? Did he tell you what the sensitivity climbs too with the beast magnet?

Ciao Bill,
i cannot upgrade because he will do a new speaker with different design 3 way with this driver
I am ordering a pair of sub where as soon as ready can put this driver only for sub
My speaker is 98 db and this will be at least 2/3 db more
Ciao
Gian

Hi Gian,

Does he sell his drivers separately or only for his speakers?

He doesn’t sell his driver but has all the machine to repair, modified and put energy on magnet when lost energy after 30/40 years with his machine
So if one has problems can send driver to him to refurbishment
