I'm ready for the season to start, too. Reading that the Clippers are favored to win the title.... ..seems like a Twilight Zone episode.

Darn but I am going to miss tomorrow's game as I will be in NYC until Friday with the 3 Amigos, seeing some Broadway shows as well as Turandot at The Met. That season open tomorrow at Staples will be epic

You'll have a good time in NYC...sounds like a very good excuse to miss the game.

I'll be watching for sure.

Kuzma out, Paul George out so neither team is at full strength but should still be an epic battle.

I guess we are seeing his Achilles heel early into his career

I remember when Blake Griffin sat out his entire first year with the Clippers due to a knee injury - hate to see something like that happen to Zion and to Pelican fans.

Injury sucks. Greg Oden , Sam Bowie, they would have excited the league had they been healthy. So sad to see injuries, and sadder to see them at a rookie's first year.

Clippers and Lakers are battling it out in a very intense game. Clippers were down early but now lead 62-56 at the half.

Both teams look good and are really going at each other. Early in the season for a game with playoff-like intensity.

Clippers won tonight 112-102. Lakers looked good though.

as expected Lakers give up an early lead and were IMO totally outplayed by the Clippers. A three pointer by Lou Williams just before the half was when the game was taken over by the Clippers never to look back. clippers looked great without PG. Imagine how good they’ll be with him. James looked good but IMO he is on the down swing of his career. I thought AD played terrific I hope he stays with the LaKers when they fall short once again this year. Only 81 more games

I noticed lots of cheers for the Lakers early on. Well....

2 more Lakers losses, and LeBron will be moving for one Jason Kidd to take over.

Bottom line is the Lakers bench is weak and Kuzma is out for at least a month

The Lakers didn't exploit their size advantage - AD, McGee, Howard are better than Harrell and Zubac.

Maybe that's considered old school in the NBA today but lack of size in the middle is the Clippers' weakness.

That's where the Lakers should have attacked the Clippers on offense in my opinion.
