inasmuch as you and I are strong LBJ fans what are your thoughts with the Lakers to date and the fact that they might sign Kawhi and Iggy swell as getting D'Angelo Russell back. Iggy, as good as he is needs limited minutes to survive the whole season but he can shoot and play Dee in clutch times for limited minutes.I would think it would be a one year contract as he likely will retire

I was just thinking of that possibility and if can really happen. These 3 must be scoring 35 points each game since even with Kawhi, the Raptors needed double figure scoring from van Vleet and Ibaka from bench. And in some games, the lead of the Raptors was only a few points. Interesting win the Lakers bench will be, and they will still need 1 more player for their first five, if Kawhi Signs in, an Incredible event.

It never dawned on me that Kawhi missed 20 games last season due to Load Management. Espoused by his medical team. I thought that Stern once penalized Pop for sitting 'healthy' players like Duncan. So now that Kawhi can sit while 'healthy', they are now talking that AD and LeBron will have that too this coming season.

A big eye popper is what I read about the 5 yr max extension of Nuggets Jamaal Murray (who is a great player), earning him $34m a year. His rookie contract ended at $3.4m. That is an incredible raise for a guy drafted 4 slots lower than Boston's Jaylen Brown. The C's fan are wishing Jaylen didn't see that news.
