New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Both teams are playing well and in spite of no Tyrese game is tied at 40 late in second period.

Too many Pacers turnovers in the third leading to OKC scoring seems close to putting this game away. TJ McConnell ws a one man achieving the third scoring 10 but the turnovers are killing the Pacers

Great series and who knows if the result would have been different with a healthy Haliburton. Pacers make a run at the end but too little and too late.

Final OKC did it all this year

103-91

Game 4 will haunt the Pacers for a very long time.

Also a little in shock here (please no puns). A lot just happened in 2 hrs. Pretty devastating really for Pacer fans. To be so incredibly close (hold on to the end of game 4 and none of this would have happened) and now the ramifications of next year. Haliburton came in really looking “ready to play” too.

I think in comparison to what the whole team gave on this run, it’s hard not to feel gratitude and inspiration in contrast to the devastation. I feel like I grew, spiritually (chuckle if you want), watching this run. There was certainly magic, but really, coming together as a team and never giving up really just awakened a spirit that surpasses logic and doubt. Through the team, but as an example for us all. It’s obviously more powerful to experience as a fan, but these are the virtues of following a team for a lifetime (yet alone, for as long as one has, and welcoming the new).

That’s my takeaway for the evening at least.

I don’t regret for a second, having faith until the final buzzer sounded and sending as much good vibes as I could as a fan. They deserved at least as much.

Zero regrets when you give it your all.

Thanks for letting me chime in here. I like this site. It seems very respectful and insightful overall. Unfortunately, a little rare in these times regarding the internet.

I do hope very much the world can come to as much peace as possible. Especially considering these recent world events.

Great comments, bodhifile.
As an adopted Hoosier who shares Pacer season tickets, my primary post-series feelings are gratitude and a bit of wistfulness. The Pacers (and OKC) did show how smaller-market teams can lead, how professional athletes can care about more than themselves, and how fan bases can unite. And, of course, they also showed that soccer is not the only "beautiful game."
As you intimated, there are lessons and examples for the world at large there.
Now heal, Hali, heal!

When you look back to the conference playoffs the Pacers beat far better teams imo to win the EC than the Thunder did to win the WC.

A bigger concern is what can we expect next season from Haliburton. If an Achilles tear he’ll likely miss most if not the entire season. I feel for all you Pacer fans. Nothing to hang your heads about.

Itr's tough to see KD become a journeyman after such a stellar career but he definitely wanted out of Phoenix. Houston has a lot of promise and it would be nice to see KD win one more ring before he retires

The Indianapolis Star columnist Gregg Doyel is writing that the Pacers' and Bucks' offers to Turner were not that far apart. He says that the Pacers' offer would have put them in luxury tax territory anyway, so that claim by Turner's agent is not really true. Interesting times, and certainly the end of a ten-year love affair.

I hope he stays with the Pacers. He was a key piece to their success IMO

what a sad ending to the career of one of my favorite players. It's tough when a season ending injury dictates the balance of the career of any player

Reports: Bucks to waive All-Star guard Damian Lillard

A 9-time All-Star, Damian Lillard suffered an Achilles injury in the 2025 playoffs and was expected to miss the 2025-26 season.

Ayton to Lakers
Hopefully LBJ and Luka can ignite his on-court passion.

I'm not a Lakers supporter.
But have enjoyed watching them, to see how they click.
Do like Luka, and hope he finds success.
In my mind, a real pity LeBron didn't re-sign for say $35 million.
Show that it's as much about The Lakers as it is about himself.
Surely the guy is rich enough by now...
