New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

As Pat Reilly once said, "The playoffs don't begin until a home team loses..."
Great game at MSG as the Pistons lead by most of the game until the Knicks tied the game in the final minute only to see on the next play Dennis Schoder drill a 3 pointer to put the Pistons up for good

I found the Pistons play a stifling defense and IMO it was their Dee which won the the game.Other than Brunson with 35 the Knicks were way off their game
'
'The Pistons could easily be up 2-0 but still win their first post season game since 2008. The Pistons truly humbled the Knicks tonight

Watching fans 2 of Grizz vs Thunder. Concession the Thunder are running away with it as they lead 70-52 at the half. OKC seems to be the perfect team. I just don’t see any weakness. They play great Dee, they are very fast, they can sink 3’s from anywhere. Holmgren as a Center is unique. He’s a veritable tooth pick with legs like spindles. However he is young and very versatile and shoots the ball with great accuracy. They are very confidant and SGA almost certainly will win the MBP this year. It’s difficult to say which team matches up well against them. Here in the West I give the Wolves the best chance and in the East I see the Pacers perhaps as the best matchup. However watching them dominate the Grizz and neutralize Ja Morant shows me how good they are. I might change my mind as we go deeper in the playoffs but right now I don’t see any team beating them

118-99 Thunder.

Memphis made a game of it early in the 3rd as they closed to within 8

OKC just too deep of a team as their bench scored 43 points

They toyed with Memphis in the 4th. It just looked way too easy

Wolves are a tough and gutsy team as they hung around while the Lakers went cold in the 4th and narrowed the led to 9 points in spite of foul trouble

I have to admit that it was LeBron who carried the team on his shoulders as the Wolves just ran out of clock

Final Lakers 94-85 in a game filled with fouls and referee errors all of which slowed rthe pace of the game

Lakers just cannot hold early leads as they got iced in the 4th as they missed everything

Wolves are a tough team as the series now goes back to Minnesota

quite a game in Detroit tonight as the Pistons are a scrappy team and even though KAT and Brunson for the Knicks were the reason the Knicks won, the Pistons did hold the lead briefly towards the end and the final 2 minutes were quite exciting as the Pistons overcame yet another Knicks lead only to lose the game in the final 5 seconds of the game which took about 10 minutes to play

Final 118-116 Knicks

Knicks are a very good team but they are vulnerable and the Pistons match up well. If Pistons win Game 4 the series could go 6-7 games The Pistons lack the experience but they will be better next year. Im not sure how far the Knicks will go but Im betting they wont win the East

I just focus on the next game at this time of year with my Knicks... just take the next game...

What a difference home court makes. At the half at Memphis

Memphis running the Thunder off the court and lead at the half

77-51

Morant out of the game as he was airborne to the basket and fell to the ground landing flat on his hip. He was able to take the 2 free throws but couldn’t play due to the injury

Scotty Pippen Jr has had an excellent first half

Butler likely out with a deep contusion to his muscle but thankfully no bone fracture. I’m sure he’ll be out next game and likely more. Since his trade to the Warriors they have become a totally different team and have made the Warriors exciting to watch

He and Steph have made this a series

The comeback win by OKC last night was one for the books. Trailing by 26 at the half I really thought the game was over but that crushing fall by Ja turned the momentum and I was not surprised that OKC came back to win 114-108

To my eyes OKC is the complete team. They lack nothing. Everyplayer is a standout and their bench goes deep. SGA has become a superstar and he never seems out of breath. Holmgren is such an unusual center as he is so tall and lanky but he can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court with ease.

I still cant see any team in the East being OKC ...OKC still has to win the west and I still feel that a healthy Wolves team would be a good matchup

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the officiating in the NBA is not as good as it used to be. There seem to be so many missed calls and so many coaches challenges which prove successful.

Yesterday there was a walking violation by KAT where he took five steps and no walking call was made. Then the calls the refs make are often so obviously wrong that there are successful coaches challenges which imo slows the game and takes the excitement away. Yesterday at Detroit it literally took 5 minutes to play the last 0.5 seconds of the game

It was good to see Orlando come away with the win tonight over the Celtics

The only series which isn’t close so far is OKC and Memphis

The Thunder are a well greased machine who always play tough no matter what the score. They have youth , speed and skill on their side. Nothing daunts them

The Lakers vs Wolves was a game of Lakers turnovers, 3 pointers by James and ANT
Exciting game
With 3 1/2 minutes left in game
Wolves lead 106-103
Some dumb ass in the crowd is blowing a whistle which resulted in a Wolves basket
