Hi,

I have personal experience with some Neotech speaker cables (NES-1001) as well as interconnects (NEMOI-1220, NEI-1002, NEI-1001).
Does anybody have experience and could share opinion about:

- what expect from Amazon silver interconnects (rectangular spiral wire) compared to regular round wire in NEI-1002 and NEI-1001?

- how the rectangular speaker cable NEMOS-1080 compares with NES-1002 and NES-1001.

It is interesting as particular models represents different technologies: rectangular wire vs. round wire, PTFE insulation vs. PE insulation, single core vs. multi wire.

In my tube system I found silver Neotech works very well better than some multi-bucks cables.

Thank you.

I'm not that experienced with the models that you have mentioned, but my favourite group from Neotech is the OCC in PVC line, so the NEI3004 and similar. Well rounder with a tone of warmth.

hello, could you tell me something more about NEI-1002 and NEI-1001 cables? I wanted to make a high quality xlr cable and I was wondering which cables on the market (for example, Nordost tyr/valhalla) can they compare to? Thank you

I know I'm getting back to you 3 years later but I can tell you this I had regular round OCC wire from harmonic technology which was made by neotech and I'm now using the Sahara which is the rectangular copper OCC wire and all I can say is what a huge difference the rectangular OCC wire is far superior to the round OCC as good as that is.

I just put in a pair of Neotech NEMOI-1220 rectangular OCC silver IC's with Furutech NCF connectors. I made a ground wire connection at the DAC end and ran that to a ground box. These replaced a set of LessLoss C-marc IC's. I tried to add new connectors and a ground wire with these, but wow, that is tough wire to work with. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make that happen yet, but plan on working with them again. I have to say, I'am very impressed with the weave of the wire and construction of this cable. The folks at LL really put some thought into the construction of these IC's.
I only have about 100 hrs on the Neotech cables. At this point the C-Marc has better tone, but the sounds stage of the Neotech is much larger, while the C-Marc is deeper. The Neotech is more precise and a little more detailed without being aggressive. If the Neotech's break in and improve on tone and soften up just a bit, these will be outstanding IC's. However, I'm still interested in what grounding would do for the C-Marcs.
