I was going to update the ongoing thread about my property revaluation, but I can't find it suddenly. There was an Oops message when I clicked the link.
Anyway, the latest is those scoundrels at the appraisal company filed a police report. I got a call from a detective today and we had a 21 minute discussion. He was genuinely interested in my side of the story, so I told him that the prospect of homelessness loomed in front of me with this 500% valuation increase. We talked about how the whole system is a fiction made up by investors to benefit themselves and how the munis tagged along to benefit from much higher taxes. Once he had determined that I was not a threat, the conversation turned toward me educating him about human rights, economics and the fraudulent real estate market. He even complimented me on my intelligence and ability to deep think these matters.
As things stand, I still have to go before the Board of Assessment Appeals in February. The emotional strain of not knowing if I'll be homeless or in a situation where I'm defending my home from the police in a year, leaves me unable to sleep at night. Not good for my heart condition at all.

The thread had been turning overtly political, more by posts from other members than by yours.

Politics are not allowed to be discussed here, according to the TOS of WBF.

This has nothing to do with thought police but everything with forum rules.

Good for you.

Very sorry to hear that. I hope everything will work out.

You just encountered one of the more polarizing members. Put him on ignore, keep your posts audio related, and enjoy.

Yes, he was one of the posters who made it overtly political on the thread that disappeared.

Now that it's gone, I don't know whom it was that is considered persona non grata. Oh well. Shame he got the thread deleted. In the future, it would be better to just delete the rule-breaking post, rather than nuke the whole thread. I invested a certain amount of time writing that and if that's how the moderators work here, I think perhaps I would be wasting my time posting further.
