MUNCHEN 2025 MOC / MARRIOTT The final Chapter !

Marco serri design.
The Marco Serri design seems interesting, as far as I can see: AMT tweeter in dipole (semi-open baffle at the rear); maybe paper-cone midrange.

How did it sound? did you like it?

Audionec & Aries Cerat, together room H 4, W05 !
(please note that I am not in Munich)

Here is a YT excerpt, at 4'24:
Rather poor-sounding video alas, but I can tell that the new Audionec open baffle range is stunning. The big model here (96 dB) impressed me on the Brussels show. It was demoed with Meitner electronics. Very, very good. Sounded 'live' and (slightly) 'clean', but not clinical. Very good expressiveness. On the big model, they use two custom-made 96 dB sensitivity 38cm woofers. (By contrast, I am hugely disappointed by the sound of this video).

Needless to remind WBF members that Audionec was the second brand that DCC had challenged for an in-room comparison at his place (it was another model though, higher in the range), before he finally choosed his last loudspeakers pair (Stenheim Reference Ultime Two).

Hey Andro,

Are you in Munich? If so, could you please visit the Ensemble Audio set up in the nearby Pullman Hotel, near the HiFI Deluxe show? If you visit, please record video as well if you are able. Thanks

Hello i just went and asked for you.
They say they know nothing of an audio show also no signs / whar ever .

They did ask me if i wanted to check in lol

For all Martion Audio Fans, they changed their location:

A good move, the older building was quaint but limited. The MotorWorld building will have its own challenges sonically but is much nicer looking and still very accessible from the MOC.

This off shoot of the show should not be missed, especially the Aeonor horns! I assume there will also be other exhibitors like last year.

How was this room! I was wowed by the sound of the WVL Son in this room a few years back. Last year with a different speaker I wasn't as impressed. This real world setup looks interesting.
I don't like the Transrotor cartridges.
They sound analytical but have a great dynamic!

The worst sound I have listened in the show...
What a pity!

I went back to the von schweikert / west minster room/ rockna and it sounded a lot better with digital.

I think the " underpowered " sound had to do with tt set up
I agree

Just to say... I am passionate like you...
I share my passion here.
I pay myself my hotel, my air plane....
What's the best forum is the best forum I have discovered...we can exchange any ideas without problems....
Thanks for all
And Thanks all for your feedback advices!
Thank you for all of the pictures! My advice would be to some of the exhibitors.

When an interested audiophile takes a picture and then publishes it on a forum like this it is free advertising! It is not always apparent what is on display, don't be afraid to have some signage that identifies your brand.
