Mercury Passes In Front Of The Sun

Here is a photo taken earlier today from the observatory of a friend of mine showing Mercury in front of the sun.

Mercury is the small dot halfway down from the larger sun spot

How true. My friend took it from his observatory and how true when you see just Mercury let alone the cosmos
