Hello everyone,

I found a big box with CDs in my garage and want to revisit “good old times” ;-).

I’ve been shortlisting current offerings on used market to:
Audio Research CD3MKII
Sugden Masterclass PDT-4
Moon Neo 260D

I’m no expert in specs of CD transport, laser, DAC, etc. Would therefore greatly appreciate your advice!

Thanks and nice Sunday,
Laurens

For $1500 why not buy a new CD player like a NAD, Marantz or Denon? I think that is what I would do. Otherwise you might be buying a laser reliability problem. I would check out if the manufacturer of a higher end player was able to provide parts to fix it, the answer is probably not.
